Reflect on the RDJ 23 process. Would you like to do this on the wiki? What are your ideas for RDJs in the future?
March 9, 2009 at 8:01 pm
My 3 questions are Character development, Author/text evaluation, and allusion.

My three questions are:
What is external conflict?
What is internal conflict?
What is dramatic irony?
March 9, 2009 at 11:53 pm
My three questions were…
1. Would you suggest this book to someone else? Why or why not?
2. Does the plot of this story flow? Is the plot easy to follow/understand?
3. Were there enough details for you to see/hear what was happening?
Okayyy, thats it! Wait, was I supposed to answer those??
March 10, 2009 at 4:51 pm
I forgot what my three questions were I had wrote them down in my RDJ but Jason has mine. The only thing that I remember is Problem
March 10, 2009 at 9:06 pm
- Can Allusions be references to something you heard someone say in real life? If the answer is no, why not?
- Why shouldn’t we retell what happend in the story in our RDJ’s?
- How are the genres ‘Action’ and ‘Adventure’ different?
Sophie. Conflict is nessasary to the plot because without it the story would be boring. Would you want to read a story about everthing being perfect all of the time and everyone being happy?
Trevor. Internal conflict is a conflict going on within the character. That means in is in their head or just a conflict that has to do with them and no one else.

Conflict is necessary to the plot in my story because it would be boring and pointless without a problem.
If my book was told from a different point of view, the story would be completely different, and everything would change.
March 10, 2009 at 11:53 pm
To Sophs questions:
The story were change if it were told from a different point of view because then you could only see what was happening in one person’s side of the story, not everybody’s.
Conflict is necessary to the plot because it moves it along and makes it more edge-of-your-seat-ish.
Okey dokey, seeya tomorrow!!
March 11, 2009 at 4:37 pm
now that I have my RDJ My three questions are:
Problem:What was that main issue for the main character to try to resolve?
(RDJ PP Slide# 15)
Information: Were there enough specifics about character, action, background, and setting?
(RDJ PP Slide # 16)
Climax: What is the most interesting, exciting, and ?

I answered Sierra’s qusestions
1. I would suggest my book to someone else because I think every now and then someone might like a good mystery of idenitical twins.
2. I think it flows but I think every now and then it might refer back and forth. It might be understandable and sometimes I might get confuse myself in one area of my book but I really think I probably read it too fast but I get what I’m reading.
3. Yes I think that I really see it visually and that it could happen.
March 11, 2009 at 7:18 pm
Hay waz up
My questions are, 1: What was the most excitting part
2: What was the climax of the novel
3: How were the characters introduced
Sierra: You should sugest the book to someone else because if its a book that you like it may be the same type of genre as the other.
Sophie: Conflict is neccesary in a book because with out conflict the book would be just boring.
O.K ttyl =)

To Coolpepper’s questions:
Allusions could be heard in real life. Also retelling the story in your RDJ’s would get sort of boring if you had to read the RDJ and if you have already read the book it would be confusing. Action could not have to have an adventure, and adventure could just be wandering around and not have any action in it. Thats the difference between “Action” and “Adventure” genres.
March 12, 2009 at 7:16 pm
I liked doing the RDJs like this because it was simple but alittel difficult because you had to look up the answers to other peoples questions. I wouldn’t want to do this on the wiki because it seems more difficult. I dont know any ideas for the RDJ but personaly I like doing the on the blog.
March 12, 2009 at 11:03 pm
I think that it would be fun to do RDJs on the wiki. I would not think this before now, because before I didn’t really understand the wiki. For future RDJs I think that we should continue to do the normal RDJs.
March 12, 2009 at 11:43 pm
My three q’s were:
why did you choose this book?
What would the story be like without a conflict?
How did the novel impact you as a reader or your life?
March 12, 2009 at 11:50 pm
I answered Sierras Q’s
Q Would you reccomend this book to someone else?
A I would reccomend this book to somebody because its a nice thing to kind of relate too and it’s like a cliff hanger.
Q Does the plot of this story flow? Is the plot easy to follow/understand?
A Yes it flows. And yes it’s easy to understand
Q Were there enough details for you to see/hear what was happening?
A There were more than enough details for me to see it was like watching a movie and whenever i had to quit for a second it was like pausing the movie =)
okay thats it i hope cause if its not then i don’t know what elsse we were supposed to do lol.
March 13, 2009 at 4:48 pm
Answer: Dramatic irony is reader know whats about to happen but the character dont.
Answer: Action is very
Important in a book because if you did not have action then the book will be just boring.
Questions:
1.) What is irony
2.) What is climax
3.) Whats do i mean when i say, “At the end of the book it had a good falling point”
March 13, 2009 at 4:53 pm
Yea i like doing the RDJ up here because im not really that good on the wiki like i am up here.
My idea on RDJ’s in the future is to make them more fun.

1.what kind of mood was the character in?
2.what was a conflict?
3.what was the characters view?
March 24, 2009 at 8:32 pm
These are my Q’s
1. how do different types of conflict change or effect the genre or the plot?
2. what is a 2nd person veiw?
3. what is a good way to find good books to read?
March 24, 2009 at 8:39 pm
Now this is the part where I answer someone elses Questions:
I will be answering Mikes Q’s
1. Irony in general is any comedy in a story, such as situational (physical) verbal (puns) and dramatic (you know what happens before the characters do. ie: Jaws song: dun dun, dun dun…)
2. climax is the high point of the story in which you can pretty much see what is going to happen in the ending.
3. I think what you mean is falling action, and it is what happens between the climax and the resolution.
March 24, 2009 at 8:41 pm
Okay, this is my last post for now. Im very sorry this was late. I would not want to do this process again, mainly because I do not like to blog. So could we pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase get back to the regular RDJ’s
